Sarah Nehls, MD

Anderson & Shapiro Eye Surgeons is pleased to welcome Dr. Sarah Nehls, a board-certified ophthalmologist, to our medical staff. Dr. Nehls specializes in corneal disease, cataract surgery, refractive surgery, ocular surface disease, and comprehensive eye care, providing compassionate, patient-centered treatment with the latest advances in ophthalmology. 

Dr. Nehls earned her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health before completing her ophthalmology residency at the renowned Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA and fellowship training in Cornea, Refractive Surgery, and Uveitis at the prestigious University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). 

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Nehls has spent more than 20 years training the next generation of ophthalmologists as a Professor of Ophthalmology and Fellowship Director at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Her commitment to innovation, surgical excellence, and personalized patient care has earned her a reputation for helping patients preserve and restore their vision using the latest advances in ophthalmology.
